Pachyderm Club
The San Antonio Alamo
Our board members are dedicated volunteers who embody the core values of the Republican Party: limited government, individual liberty, free enterprise, and personal responsibility. They work tirelessly to ensure our organization thrives and remains a vital part of the community.
The board oversees the planning of our monthly luncheons, where we educate and engage members and the public on important government and political topics. They also coordinate mixers to connect with candidates, giving members an opportunity to hear directly from those seeking to represent us. By providing a platform for candidates to speak, they help foster an informed and engaged electorate.
Their dedication extends beyond these events, as they work together to uphold our mission and bring people together in the spirit of civic involvement.

Msg. Edgar Morales, U.S. Special Forces (Ret.), 1945–2024
Edgar Morales founded the Alamo Pachyderm Club in 2005. His passion for promoting civic engagement and conservative values inspired countless members and shaped the vision of our organization.
With a distinguished career that included 20 years of service in the United States Army, including his time in Special Forces and with the 101st and 82nd Airborne Divisions, exemplified his dedication to country. Edgar brought the same dedication and leadership to the club that he demonstrated throughout his life. His love for community, country, and the values he held dear will forever remain at the core of what we do.
We honor his memory and continue his legacy with gratitude and respect.
